"An absolute gem of a café. Located in a serene garden setting, this little oasis is worth a visit or two. Simona was wonderful, friendly and always had a smile on her face. She makes the absolute best crepes and wonderful coffee. Their fresh baked croissants are not to be missed as well. You can also enjoy a cocktail or two on their lovely and peaceful patio. This is a slow your pace down kinda of place…great vibe!"

"We found this café whilst holidaying in Garda recently - what a total gem! We found the food to be top quality, plentiful and really affordable. The coffee was extremely good, as were the pancakes, crepes and croissants - so much so we came here 3 times in our stay! I urge you to check it out!"

"This place is such a great find. Great location opposite the lake and minutes from the centre of Garda, really gorgeous décor and vibe in the cafe. Also amazing value for money, best olives and cappuccino I’ve had all trip. Also the gentleman serving was very pleasant and attentive. Definitely would visit again - recommend!"

"Everything just perfect! We have met Paolo and Simona there and they made our stay an once in a lifetime experience! They were both so kind and wonderful! I can absolutely recommend this place and you also have to take the picnic box with you if you are going to visit the parc there! Really this is the cutest and most romantic place especially in the evening! The food at Hortus is soo delicious and the coffee and the atmosphere in general completes the awesome experience! Therefore 5 of 5! Keep going Hortus team! Such a wonderful place!! A must visit when you are near Garda!"

"Delicious food in a super cosy atmosphere. The café is super modern furnished, the toilet very clean & there are great food and drink choices. We ate outside in the little garden and really enjoyed our stay. The staff is nice & helpful as well."

"Terrific café for a tremendously rainy day in Garda. Whilst the family braved the weather for a walk by the fog ridden lake. I indulged in coffee, fresh orange juice, and homemade pain au chocolat. You be the judge of who had the better time."
